Graffiti

Suspirium puellarum Celadus thraex. This sort of thing was always my favourite at uni.

Pretty fab weekend so far I must say. On Friday I popped down into the city for the evening to give Robert and Nat a hand with the sound and stuff at Bright Young Things before taking advantage of Robert’s sofa once more. This trip was also notable for my realisiation that sometimes a taxi is a handy way to get across town, not in every situation, but as an option in the armoury. Sometimes having some money is handy. The next morning a late breakfast at Smiths of Smithfield was really the only way to set up an assault on Richer Sounds to finally snaffle some nice headphones and a digital radio. And yes I am the sort of geek whose heart is warmed by the knowledge that the people behind the GPU in the late lamented Dreamcast made it. Afterwards a quick trip back to fuss with surround sound audio for another afternoon before heading home. Today I woke pleasingly late, drank a very nice pot of coffee and sat in front of the TV with my laptop on my knee almost all day watching movies and playing Facade which is marvelous. Imagine the text adventure reimagined for the 21st century, but with graphics and emergent gameplay too. A heady prospect.
